Congenital spine conditions: Spinal conditions you have a birth.
Degenerative spine conditions: Diseases that occur due to wear and tear, such as degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis and compression fractures.
Herniated disc: A disc that is slipped, bulging or ruptured.
Nerve pain (radiculopathy): Pain due to a disc or bone pressing on the spinal cord or nerves; also called a pinched nerve. Sciatica is a type of radiculopathy that travels down the leg.
Spinal deformities: Irregular curves in the spine, including scoliosis and complex spinal deformities.
Spinal injuries: Fractures, sprains and strains that cause pain and affect spinal function.
Spinal tumors: Cancerous and non-cancerous tumors occurring in the spine. For spine tumors, we coordinate care with specialists at the Memorial Cancer Institute.
Spondylolisthesis: Slippage of one vertebra over the vertebra below it, usually due to degenerative changes or an injury.
Transverse myelitis: A neuroimmune disorder that causes inflammation of the spinal cord.
